The Cattleman

We have 106 mother cows on our place. We had our first calf born on Feb. 15. Ken had hoped she would arrive on Valentine's day but it was not to be. Each morning Ken is found "outstanding in his field" chopping ice in the water trough. Some mornings the ice is very thick!! It is so nice to have the cows and have baby calves arriving. Spring is on its way!

What a great picture. Are all those cows going to have calves? How fun to have all those babies.

This picture brings me back home. I love the view and it reminds me of everything I love about Wyoming. Uncle Ken sure loves his animals to get up and chop ice for them so they cab drink. All the new spring time babies do mean that spring is on the way. I love the spring!!
